Description

  • Maintain a single, accurate SaaS inventory and Service CMDB with clear ownership, tier, purpose, and lifecycle data for each service.
  • Run the renewals calendar and sourcing pipeline so upcoming expirations are visible with appropriate lead times by vendor tier.
  • Analyze SaaS and third-party spend and utilization to identify duplication, under-utilization, and consolidation opportunities.
  • Lead annual SaaS budget planning, justification, and forecasting across Tech Services in partnership with Finance and business owners.
  • Own the intake process for new SaaS requests and renewals, triaging work between strategic sourcing and an express lane.
  • Develop renewal business cases and recommendations using utilization, performance, and commercial data.
  • Coordinate with platform owners and business stakeholders to ensure decisions are informed, documented, and executed safely.
  • Partner with Procurement on RFx events, including requirements, evaluation criteria, scoring, and award recommendations.
  • Improve procurement tooling and workflows to support tiering, routing, and renewal processes.
  • Build, coach, and lead a small Vendor & SaaS Ops team focused on savings, cycle time, and portfolio health.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, Finance, Security, Legal, Business Operations, and Tech Services.
  • Set goals, track progress, and communicate portfolio impact to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS operations, technology portfolio management, vendor management, or IT/procurement roles.
  • Strong spend and utilization analysis skills, with a track record of turning data into business cases and savings.
  • Experience partnering with Procurement, Legal, and Cybersecurity on RFx, evaluations, and commercial negotiations.
  • Familiarity with CMDB concepts and maintaining accurate service and vendor records.
  • Exposure to ERP/P2P, CLM, or strategic sourcing tools is a plus.
  • Proven stakeholder management and communication skills, including leading cross-functional discussions and influencing without direct authority.
  • Experience building or leading a small team and setting clear, outcome-oriented goals.
  • Prior experience in high-growth, pre-IPO companies and/or technology or healthcare industries is preferred.
  • ITIL, COBIT, PMP, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
  • Must be able to work remotely and collaborate effectively with leadership, employees, and members.
