Description

  • Advise Supervisors and Managers on employee and workplace matters.
  • Own performance-management processes, including coaching, documentation, corrective action, performance improvement plans, and follow-through.
  • Guide leaders through complex performance, conduct, policy, accommodation, wage-and-hour, and termination matters.
  • Provide coaching, tools, training, and feedback to improve leader capability and difficult-conversation skills.
  • Analyze workforce data and trends to identify risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
  • Develop and improve performance-management resources, processes, communications, and manager templates.
  • Support employees and leaders in resolving workplace concerns fairly, consistently, and compliantly.
  • Partner with Talent Management, HR Operations, Compliance, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Legal.
  • Develop proactive strategies and programs that improve engagement, leader effectiveness, and organizational performance.
  • Prioritize and resolve ambiguous or shifting work using sound judgment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of progressive experience in HR business partnering, employee relations, or performance management.
  • Experience in high-volume, frontline, contact center, or non-exempt employee environments.
  • Experience coaching leaders on feedback, documentation, corrective action, and performance improvement plans.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence leaders across levels and functions.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, expectation-management, and recommendation skills.
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and attention to detail when handling sensitive matters.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare organization preferred.

  • Base salary of $74,640–$94,000 per year, depending on location, experience, and other factors.
