Description

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to sales and client teams on key pursuits, renewals, and expansions.
  • Diagnose client needs by analyzing benefits design, population data, current vendors, and performance to define clear problem statements and strategies.
  • Develop APD proposals that align company capabilities with client goals, including benefit design changes, contribution strategies, and navigation or virtual care integration.
  • Build persuasive narratives and contribute to pitch decks, RFP responses, and executive briefs that communicate the problem, solution, and impact.
  • Translate technical and clinical concepts into executive-ready language for HR, benefits leaders, consultants, and procurement audiences.
  • Partner with Sales on pursuit strategy, win themes, competitive differentiation, and stakeholder mapping.
  • Support RFP solutioning, including responses for solution design, implementation, member experience, and measurement.
  • Help develop financial models and business cases in partnership with Analytics and Finance.
  • Join client and consultant meetings to present solutions, answer strategic questions, and build credibility as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with Product, Implementation, Operations, Clinical, and Member Experience teams to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with delivery capabilities.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in sales, consulting, solutions consulting, strategy, client strategy, or similar healthcare roles.
  • Must have experience with Alternative Plan Design (APD) products.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and presenting solutions to senior stakeholders such as HR, Benefits, Finance, or C-suite leaders.
  • Strong strategic and structured thinking skills with the ability to create clear frameworks and recommendations from ambiguous problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-change environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • High executive presence, polish, and credibility in client- and consultant-facing settings.
  • Experience in digital health, health plans, benefits consulting, or healthcare navigation and virtual care is preferred.
  • Deep APD experience, including designing, modeling, and implementing APD programs as part of value-based benefit and affordability strategies.
  • Experience supporting enterprise and consultant-driven RFPs and strategic pursuits.
  • Strong analytical skills, including comfort interpreting claims, utilization, engagement, or ROI analyses.

  • Base salary of $205,000 to $245,000 per year in the United States.
