Description

  • Set and execute a multi-year vision for HubSpot’s ecosystem across the builder and developer platform, APIs, marketplace, and AI-driven experiences.
  • Own ecosystem metrics and performance across adoption, retention, revenue influence, and partner success.
  • Lead and develop a senior, multi-team product organization spanning platform, marketplace, and ecosystem experiences.
  • Improve the developer experience through higher-quality APIs/MCP, documentation, tooling, governance, and platform reliability.
  • Define how builders, developers, and partners create AI-powered apps, agents, and integrations on HubSpot’s platform.
  • Drive a marketplace experience that helps customers discover, evaluate, and adopt ecosystem solutions.
  • Partner with Developer Relations, Partnerships, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to integrate ecosystem solutions into the business.
  • Establish operating models, decision frameworks, and execution cadences for fast, data-driven ecosystem innovation.
  • Represent HubSpot externally with developers, partners, and industry leaders to strengthen ecosystem strategy and credibility.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience, including leadership of large, multi-team product organizations.
  • Proven success building and scaling developer platforms, APIs, or app marketplaces at meaningful scale.
  • Track record of turning ecosystems into growth drivers that impact acquisition, retention, or revenue.
  • Strong perspective on AI, agents, and platform ecosystems, with experience applying these concepts in real products.
  • Experience hiring, developing, and leading senior product leaders in high-performing organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders at the executive level.
  • Data-driven approach to defining metrics, prioritizing investments, and driving outcomes.
  • Ability to simplify complex systems into clear strategies and execute with focus and alignment.
  • Experience with CRM, marketing, sales, or service ecosystems, preferred.
  • Background working closely with Developer Relations or similar functions, preferred.
  • External-facing experience such as public speaking or developer community engagement, preferred.
  • Experience in high-growth SaaS environments where ecosystem strategy is a key differentiator, preferred.

Benefits

  • Annual cash compensation range of $356,670 to $570,645 USD.
  • Cash compensation may include base salary, on-target commission for eligible roles, and annual bonus targets.
  • Some roles are eligible for HubSpot’s equity plan with restricted stock units (RSUs).
  • Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
  • Benefits and perks are included as part of the total compensation package.
