Description

  • Perform outreach to iMentor College mentees and mentors to drive program participation.
  • Contact participants through phone calls, email, text, and iMentor’s platform.
  • Provide administrative support to maintain program fidelity and complete thorough data collection on iMentor’s platform.
  • Deliver high-touch assistance and guidance to iMentor College pairs as needed to support the program model.
  • Participate in meetings and trainings with the Impact Programming team across regional, partner, and vertical groups.
  • Support program participants so mentees and mentors engage fully with the program and its components.
  • Conduct outreach during some evening hours when needed.

Requirements

  • Former iMentor high school participant (mentee/student).
  • Comfort working remotely.
  • Availability to occasionally work nights and make phone calls in the evening.
  • Interest in working in the K-16 education sector, nonprofit sector, and/or youth development or youth management field.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially Excel and Word.
  • Customer-first mindset and willingness to connect with people across cultures.
  • Ability to take initiative, identify tasks, and begin work independently.
  • Alignment with iMentor’s mission, core values, and collaborative, supportive community.
  • Must meet district compliance requirements, including background checks.
  • Must be fully vaccinated prior to the start date to comply with the NYC Vaccine mandate.
  • Access to high-speed internet required for remote work.

Benefits

  • $17.00/hour compensation.
  • Part-time schedule of up to 20 hours per week.
  • Seasonal position running from August 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027.
  • Mostly remote work arrangement.
  • Occasional in-person work may be required if based in New York City or Chicago.
