Description

  • Manage day-to-day accounting department operations and ensure dual coverage across all functions.
  • Serve as backup for critical accounting functions as needed.
  • Oversee accounting policies, financial systems, internal controls, tax and regulatory requirements, and management reporting and forecasting.
  • Ensure month-end financial close and reporting are completed on schedule.
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies, relevant regulations, and external filing deadlines.
  • Drive department efficiencies, automation, and accuracy.
  • Prepare, review, and present monthly management reporting packages and year-to-date financial results with analysis.
  • Deliver regular dashboard-style reporting, key metrics, and ad hoc financial analysis to leadership.
  • Lead the company’s strategic planning and budgeting process.
  • Support due diligence for acquisitions and oversee post-acquisition integration.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in finance and accounting, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial consolidation processes.
  • Proven experience overseeing monthly and year-end close in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using NetSuite.
  • Experience supporting M&A transactions.
  • Strong supervisory and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple responsibilities, and work independently while making decisions.
  • Comfort working in team settings, meeting tight deadlines, and rolling up sleeves to get work done.
