Description

  • Conduct interviews with Ibility employees to capture leadership perspectives, career pathways, and mission-driven experiences.
  • Develop storytelling packages, including narratives, pitch materials, and talking points.
  • Translate core messaging into multiple formats to support marketing, communications, and external outreach efforts.
  • Research and identify relevant podcasts, publications, interviews, and speaking opportunities.
  • Draft pitch blurbs and introductory content to support external engagement.
  • Research government contracting awards and industry recognitions for the organization and its team members.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications Lead and Graphic Designer to align written and visual storytelling.

Requirements

  • Interest in marketing, communications, journalism, storytelling, public relations, or brand strategy.
  • Interest in government consulting, veteran-owned businesses, or mission-driven organizations.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Comfort conducting interviews and synthesizing qualitative information.
  • Ability to write for different audiences, including executive, media, and public-facing audiences.
  • Attention to detail and ability to translate ideas into polished content.
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a remote or hybrid environment.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a distributed team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative virtual environment.
  • Majors in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, Strategic Communications, Business, or related fields are preferred.

Benefits

  • $10 to $20 per hour compensation.
  • Remote / hybrid work arrangement in Kansas City, MO.
  • 10-week internship duration.
  • 10-20 hours per week schedule.
