Description

  • Support workflow stabilization and optimization by evaluating clinical workflows and recommending process improvements.
  • Perform data quality management, data governance, and data integrity activities.
  • Analyze clinical and operational data to support reporting, dashboards, and actionable insights.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and support rapid intervention and issue resolution.
  • Support interoperability, archiving, and data retention management activities.
  • Collaborate with clinical, technical, and operational stakeholders on system performance and workflow optimization.
  • Promote standardized data management practices and improve information quality.
  • Support data-driven operational decision-making and continuous performance improvement.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Clinical Informatics, Health Informatics, Nursing Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in clinical informatics, healthcare information systems, EHRs, or digital health initiatives.
  • Experience supporting data quality management, data governance, clinical reporting, and healthcare analytics.
  • Experience analyzing and optimizing clinical workflows within healthcare environments.
  • Experience supporting enterprise EHR implementation, optimization, or sustainment activities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare interoperability principles, clinical data standards, and information management best practices.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to translate technical information into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience supporting Oracle Health (Cerner), Epic, or other enterprise EHR platforms (preferred).
  • Experience supporting the VHA, VA, DoD, or other federal healthcare organizations (preferred).
  • Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10, or other interoperability and terminology standards (preferred).
  • Experience developing dashboards, operational reports, or healthcare performance metrics (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications such as CPHIMS, AMIA Clinical Informatics, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or comparable certifications (preferred).
  • Position is contingent upon award (Aug/Sept 2026).
