Description

Own SEO strategy across an assigned portfolio of ecommerce clients.
Build prioritized roadmaps covering technical SEO, content, authority, UX, and conversion optimization.
Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and resolve complex ecommerce issues.
Analyze search, ecommerce, and platform data to identify performance drivers and growth opportunities.
Translate SEO findings into prioritized development requirements and validate implementation quality.
Lead client strategy meetings, performance reviews, and quarterly business reviews.
Develop GEO and AEO methodologies by researching AI search platforms and measuring client visibility.
Identify opportunities to improve AI-search citations, product recommendations, structured data, feeds, reviews, and content extractability.
Collaborate with developers, writers, designers, outreach specialists, and account managers.
Contribute SEO strategy and research to Hustler Marketing’s internal initiatives and team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Significant hands-on experience leading SEO strategy for ecommerce websites.
Advanced technical SEO knowledge, especially for large ecommerce sites and product catalogs.
Strong experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus and BigCommerce; other commerce platforms are advantageous.
Proficiency with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, Looker Studio, and related tools.
Expertise in keyword research, search intent, information architecture, internal linking, on-page optimization, and ecommerce content strategy.
Ability to connect SEO performance with conversions, transactions, average order value, and revenue.
Experience diagnosing performance changes while accounting for promotions, paid campaigns, seasonality, merchandising, and tracking issues.
Ability to convert audits into prioritized roadmaps and actionable development requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and client-presentation skills.
Working knowledge or strong curiosity about GEO, AEO, AI search, structured data, product feeds, and entity optimization; SQL, Python, JavaScript, APIs, log analysis, or advanced visualization are pluses.
Availability during Monday–Friday office hours between 3–6 PM BCN time and commitment to 30–35 hours per week.
Stable internet connection and suitable computer for virtual meetings; willingness to give and receive constructive feedback.

Benefits

Fixed monthly salary paid in USD.
Full-time contractor arrangement with a paid two-month trial and adaptation period.
Performance reviews every 9–12 months, with the first review after 3–6 months.
Role and workload re-evaluation after 6–12 months.
30-day notice period after the initial two months.
