Description

  • Lead visual design direction across digital products, platforms, and experiences.
  • Mentor visual designers and provide creative direction throughout the design process.
  • Build, evolve, and maintain scalable design systems and reusable UI components.
  • Translate product and platform goals into cohesive visual experiences.
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, Engineering, Creative teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Lead projects from concept through execution while maintaining visual quality and consistency.
  • Ensure accessibility, usability, consistency, and quality across deliverables.
  • Communicate design decisions, explain trade-offs, and provide clear rationale.
  • Review work, establish design direction, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate effectively in Agile, fast-paced, and remote environments.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience designing digital products across web, mobile, and responsive platforms.
  • Experience leading and mentoring visual design teams and establishing design standards.
  • Strong expertise in scalable design systems and reusable UI components.
  • Experience working on complex product ecosystems with Product, UX, and Engineering teams.
  • Strong systems-thinking skills across detailed UI execution and broader product goals.
  • Understanding of interaction design, accessibility, usability, and user-centered design principles.
  • Ability to communicate design decisions, articulate trade-offs, and demonstrate ownership.
  • Experience taking projects from concept through execution while maintaining high visual quality.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder-management skills, including influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Comfort working in Agile, fast-paced, and remote environments; position is unavailable in New Mexico and Hawaii.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $106,000–$135,000 USD.
