Description

  • Partner with clients to understand technology needs, recommend solutions, and build strong relationships.
  • Develop and execute technology strategies aligned with business objectives and innovation goals.
  • Oversee technology project assessment, planning, execution, and delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Maintain quality through code reviews, testing, performance optimization, security, and compliance practices.
  • Identify and mitigate technology risks while managing multi-vendor solutions and technology partners.
  • Drive organic account growth and support outbound business development with account leadership.
  • Influence technology standards and best practices across Huge’s global technology department.
  • Lead innovation and continuous learning across the Engineering craft community.
  • Collaborate with creative and cross-discipline leaders to shape transformative digital experiences.

Requirements

  • Leadership experience building, scaling, and mentoring engineering teams of 10 or more developers.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex projects with multiple workstreams, quality requirements, and timelines.
  • Experience balancing technical excellence with business priorities and translating requirements into technical specifications.
  • Experience managing onshore and offshore teams; globally distributed team experience preferred.
  • Experience communicating delivery strategies and complex technical concepts to client executives and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with modern architectural patterns such as Jamstack and MACH, plus enterprise platforms including CMS, DAM, and CDN systems.
  • Expertise implementing, governing, and scaling multidisciplinary software development life cycles.
  • Proficiency with AI coding tools such as Gemini or Claude Code and autonomous multi-agent systems.
  • Experience with microservices, AWS or GCP, Vercel, CI/CD, DevOps, third-party APIs, Auth0, e-commerce, and secure payment flows.
  • Experience leading full-stack web and mobile teams; React Native, iOS, and Android experience required, with mobile commerce or native payments preferred.

Benefits

  • Remote position within the United States, excluding Colorado, New Mexico, and Hawaii.
  • Salary range of $163,000–$200,000 USD.
