Description

  • Create a shared vision and cohesive roadmap for the Events Platform as part of the Product Triad.
  • Drive alignment, set goals, and motivate cross-functional partners across the company.
  • Guide new product ideas from initial concept through launch.
  • Engage directly with customers to understand their needs and product journey.
  • Use data to identify opportunities, shape strategy, and partner with business stakeholders on solutions that help customers grow.
  • Own the developer-facing schema and ingestion experience as well as the end-user event management surfaces.
  • Define how behavioral event data is structured, queried, and surfaced across HubSpot’s product, including AI-powered features, automation, reporting, and CRM.
  • Shape data collection primitives that help non-technical customers understand user behavior without engineering support for every new event type.
  • Collaborate closely with UX, Engineering, and other internal teams to build a high-value product.
  • Navigate a large internal stakeholder surface while balancing platform and customer-facing work.

Requirements

  • Experience launching products successfully to customers.
  • A multidisciplinary approach that combines market, business, and technical insights to evaluate opportunities and tradeoffs.
  • Ability to articulate product vision to a variety of audiences.
  • Deep respect for collaborators across engineering, design, UX research, analytics, and related functions.
  • Strong customer empathy and a drive to solve customer problems deeply.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for growing healthy teams and leaders, cultivating psychological safety, and facilitating difficult conversations.
  • Ability to make decisions, test assumptions, and iterate without perfect information.
  • Adaptability in an innovative, fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of the competitive software space.
  • Experience with behavioral data products such as event schemas, data pipelines, developer instrumentation, or analytics infrastructure.
  • Strong intuition for building trustworthy, sticky products for both technical and non-technical users.
  • Comfort working across a large internal stakeholder surface.
  • Annual cash compensation range of $140,000-$175,000 USD.
  • Some roles are eligible for annual bonus targets, RSUs, and possibly overtime pay.
  • Compensation is tailored to skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
