Description

  • Work with engineers in small teams to solve complex technical problems.
  • Build and ship production code on real products used by thousands of customers.
  • Own software projects from development through delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with team members in a fast-paced, low-process environment.
  • Contribute to projects across back end, front end, or data and systems infrastructure work.
  • Take on big initiatives and help lead project execution when appropriate.
  • Participate in office visits, product summits, or team travel when scheduled and needed.

Requirements

  • Must be available to work full time for the full duration of the selected role.
  • Fall co-op candidates must be available from September to December 2026.
  • Summer internship candidates must be available from May or June to August 2026.
  • Industrial placement candidates must have at least a 9-month mandatory placement as part of their course.
  • Industrial placements are offered as a maximum 12-month contract.
  • Candidates should have web development experience beyond coursework, such as mobile apps, web apps, or games.
  • Strong candidates will show curiosity and a desire to learn and grow through new challenges.
  • Strong candidates will have a solid understanding of HubSpot’s business, products, and culture.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are expected.
  • Confidence taking on large initiatives and leading projects in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
  • Experience with one or more of the listed stacks is relevant, including Java 11, REST APIs, Dropwizard, Kafka, MySQL, Spark, AWS, React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), Sass, Kubernetes, Redis, ElasticSearch, Hadoop, HBase, or ZooKeeper.
