Description

  • Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets for investment analysis and reporting.
  • Generate investment reports for executive committees, the Board of Directors, rating agencies, regulators, and other stakeholders.
  • Produce daily and weekly reports covering fixed-income trades and unrealized gain/loss positions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation, including appropriate use of AI tools.
  • Integrate third-party data sources such as Bloomberg into analysis and reporting for fixed-income, equity, and derivative investments.
  • Coordinate portfolio operations with Investment Accounting, external managers, custodians, and vendors.
  • Manage collateral operations supporting the Federal Home Loan Bank spread investment program and state-required deposits.
  • Compile and organize investment data for annual rating-agency surveys.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience; insurance investment or middle-office experience preferred.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, aggregation formulas, PivotTables, chart and table construction, and large-dataset reconciliation.
  • Strong PowerPoint and data-visualization skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Effective collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bloomberg and Bloomberg API experience preferred.

  • Salary range of $66,500–$92,000, commensurate with experience and location.
