Description

Oversee GAAP, SEC, FINRA, and Statutory (SAP) financial reporting across business segments.
Ensure accurate accounting for investments, insurance products, and equity.
Maintain SOX-compliant internal controls over financial reporting and general ledger processes.
Support financial planning, modeling, and capital and EPS projections.
Partner with business leaders on strategic initiatives, new products, and regulatory changes.
Lead interactions with external auditors and state regulators.
Monitor compliance with evolving accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or Master’s degree preferred.
10+ years of experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and Statutory (SAP) accounting in the insurance industry.
Experience with financial systems and reporting tools.
Proven leadership, project management, and business partnering skills.
Experience working in a public company environment or with SEC reporting (implied by role scope).
Ability to manage peak workload during quarter-end and year-end cycles.

Benefits

Salary range of $124,200.00 to $175,800.00.
