Description

  • Lead and build engineering teams delivering MarTech solutions for Home Instead offices.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, and data teams to deliver scalable solutions for demand management.
  • Own systems and integrations for websites, ad spend efficiency, customer targeting, and lead handling processes.
  • Lead architecture decisions, delivery planning, and development prioritization based on customer voice, adoption potential, business impact, and architecture improvements.
  • Develop and execute technical strategy spanning Agile/Scrum methodologies, system architecture, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Review and improve system architecture, code quality, technical debt management, APIs, and eventing strategies.
  • Oversee migration from third-party marketing tools such as Salesforce, CDP, and Talkdesk to in-house solutions.
  • Partner with Sales and Product to align delivery with customer needs and business insights.
  • Lead project planning, including sprint planning, resource allocation, timelines, budgeting, dependencies, and risk management.
  • Hire, mentor, and develop engineers while fostering a healthy engineering culture and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience in a technical company.
  • Demonstrated leadership of one or more engineering teams across organizations of different sizes, from startup to scaled big tech.
  • Experience managing software delivery, including design, feature prioritization, operations, and deployment/release management for online or SaaS products.
  • Strong customer focus informed by direct user interaction, industry monitoring, and cross-domain observations.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, timelines, scopes, and resources.
  • Excellent written communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Familiarity with MarTech solutions such as Google Ads, Talkdesk, Salesforce, and Yext is preferred.
  • Experience hiring, developing, and managing remote software engineers is preferred.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Comfort working in roles requiring prioritization by customer voice, adoption potential, and business impact.

  • Base salary range of $211,500 to $235,000 USD.
