Description

  • Own the work and outcomes for core product features supporting Honeycomb’s largest enterprise customers.
  • Improve the setup experience for new users and teams and build tools that help customers scale account, user, team, and resource management.
  • Solve product problems related to automated lifecycle management, APIs at scale, infrastructure as code, and the needs of large teams.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and design in a triad-based working model.
  • Build relationships and facilitate technical conversations across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Advocate for users by understanding their pains, preferences, and best interests.
  • Use directional guidance from stakeholders to shape product discovery and define product direction.
  • Synthesize information into clear priorities and maintain focus amid competing inputs.
  • Contribute to the Product Management community of practice and promote cohesion and knowledge-sharing.

Requirements

  • Experience working in or as a user of tracing, metrics, monitoring, or analytics software is strongly preferred.
  • Comfort with technically complex spaces, including experience as a developer or on technical SaaS products.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to give and receive feedback regularly.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and user groups.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and turning it into clarity through discovery and learning.
  • Ability to set product vision and also identify small iterative pieces of value.
  • Experience shepherding product work through the full lifecycle from early prototype to GA.
  • Data-informed decision-making and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Curiosity and a habit of asking questions of customers, colleagues, and through independent research.
  • Must be eligible to work and verify identity and employment eligibility; Honeycomb cannot currently sponsor or support visa transfers.

  • Base salary of $176,500 to $207,500 USD, based on level of experience.
