Description

  • Process and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • Handle invoicing processing and print checks weekly or as needed.
  • Post transactions to the general ledger and complete general ledger reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial institution deposits and support account research and audit schedules.
  • Reconcile monthly bank, credit card, and loan statements.
  • Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Create and oversee work order instructions for various packs.
  • Contact vendors to resolve invoicing discrepancies.
  • Contribute to improved processes and procedures for financial operations.
  • Perform other clerical duties and assigned administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of finance or accounting experience in B2B accounts.
  • Previous startup experience is a plus.
  • BA/BS required; undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or Finance strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Goal-oriented, proactive, self-starter with strong organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, research, and client follow-up skills with external and internal contacts.
  • Ability to adapt to rapid changes typical of a startup environment.
  • Advanced PC skills, including Microsoft Office, pivot tables, V-lookups, and formulas.
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Ramp, Excel, and Google Suite is required.
