Description

  • Monitor and manage the accounting inbox for multiple clients.
  • Enter financial data, maintain records, and ensure accuracy in expense reports and financial statements.
  • Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Handle payroll for multiple clients while maintaining compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and recording financial transactions.
  • Keep organized records of customer, vendor, and payroll data and maintain historic accounting files.
  • Prepare and reconcile balance sheets, including cash and credit card accounts.
  • Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, sub-ledgers, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accrued liabilities, and notes payable.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements for Accounting Manager review.
  • Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience; CPA/CA candidate is a plus.
  • 3+ years of previous experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Process-oriented and able to follow specific directions and established procedures.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Experience with Gusto, Bill, Ramp, or Xero is a plus.
  • Fundamental understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Strong data entry skills and comfort working with numerical data.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
