Description

  • Lead or contribute to engineering projects from concept and design through execution and handover.
  • Apply advanced engineering principles to resolve complex technical and operational challenges.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, consultants, contractors, and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, international standards, and health and safety requirements.
  • Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and operational performance.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and oversight to junior engineers and technical staff.
  • Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management activities.
  • Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and regulatory authorities as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, or a related discipline.
  • 7–15+ years of relevant engineering experience, depending on discipline and role scope.
  • Proven experience working on complex engineering projects in construction, infrastructure, industrial, energy, utilities, or oil and gas environments.
  • Strong technical expertise within the relevant engineering discipline.
  • Familiarity with UAE regulations, international codes, and industry standards.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional, multicultural teams.
  • Professional Engineer registration or equivalent certification is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
