Description

Write, edit, and format safety manuals, policies, procedures, and guidance documents.
Refresh and revise existing documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with current OSHA/HSE standards.
Draft materials for construction site safety meetings and toolbox talks.
Prepare clear summaries and follow-ups from safety meetings and client engagements.
Research OSHA and industry standards to incorporate regulatory requirements and best practices into content.
Ensure documents are accurate, consistently formatted, and use proper technical terminology.
Collaborate with subject-matter experts to validate technical content.
Prioritize and manage multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines.
Track deliverables to ensure timely completion with minimal revision cycles.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably with safety, compliance, or industrial content.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce error-free documentation.
High level of accountability and demonstrated ability to reliably meet deadlines.
Comfortable multitasking and managing shifting priorities.
Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
OSHA 30-Hour Training Certification or equivalent safety training experience is preferred.
Experience writing safety manuals, compliance documentation, or construction-focused materials is preferred.
Familiarity with contractor compliance platforms and requirements is preferred.
Experience working with subject matter experts and translating technical language into clear, user-friendly content is preferred.
Internet connection with a minimum primary speed of 15 Mbps and a backup connection of at least 10 Mbps, capable of supporting work during a power outage.
Desktop or laptop with an Intel Core i5 8th generation or newer, Intel Core i3 10th generation or newer, AMD Ryzen 5, or equivalent processor, and at least 8 GB RAM.
Backup device that meets or exceeds the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor and is functional during power interruptions.
Functioning webcam, noise-canceling USB headset, and a quiet dedicated home office space.
Smartphone for communication and verification purposes.
