Description

  • Design and oversee the architecture of PHP applications to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Lead technical planning and design sessions and drive key technology and design decisions.
  • Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and QA teams to establish and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment.
  • Ensure applications meet security and compliance requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Mentor and support development teams through code reviews and technical guidance.
  • Research and integrate emerging technologies to improve functionality, performance, and scalability.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in PHP development and architecture.
  • Deep expertise with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or Zend.
  • Strong understanding of software design principles, including MVC, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL.
  • Experience with caching, load balancing, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering high-quality software.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud is preferred.
  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of frontend technologies such as Vue.js or React is preferred.
  • PHP Lead Architect certification or equivalent credentials is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps.
  • Backup internet connection with at least 10 Mbps that can support work during a power outage.
  • Primary desktop or laptop with at least an Intel Core i5 8th generation or newer, Intel Core i3 10th generation or newer, AMD Ryzen 5, or equivalent, plus 8 GB RAM minimum.
  • Backup device that meets or exceeds the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor and functions during power interruptions.
  • Functioning webcam, noise-canceling USB headset, quiet dedicated home office space, and smartphone for communication and verification.
