Description

  • Build and own a social content engine that increases reach, engagement, and brand trust across priority channels.
  • Create and manage a realistic content calendar tied to launches, promotions, and evergreen storytelling.
  • Write captions, hooks, and community prompts that match the brand voice and encourage action.
  • Publish, schedule, and optimize content based on performance data and platform trends.
  • Lead community management by responding to comments and DMs, escalating issues, and surfacing insights.
  • Partner with creators, influencers, and UGC contributors to source, brief, repurpose, and track usage rights for content.
  • Track weekly performance metrics and turn results into clear recommendations for the team.
  • Collaborate with designers, editors, and marketing leads to deliver content on time and at a high quality.
  • Stay current on platform updates and beauty content trends, then test and report on findings.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on social media management for a consumer brand, with beauty, skincare, haircare, wellness, or lifestyle strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to create platform-native content that performs and explain why it worked.
  • Strong writing skills with a sharp eye for tone, clarity, and brand consistency.
  • Comfort using social scheduling and analytics tools; native analytics is acceptable, and Sprout, Later, or Hootsuite is a plus.
  • Experience building and maintaining a content calendar and meeting publishing deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Strong communication and reliability in a fully remote setting.
  • Ownership mindset with the ability to spot gaps early and keep work moving without being chased.
  • Beauty industry experience, including products, ingredients, routines, launches, or creator culture, is preferred.
  • Basic short-form editing skills using CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar tools are preferred.
  • Experience supporting product launches, promos, and social commerce, including Shop links, landing pages, or UTM tracking, is preferred.
  • Experience working with influencers or creators, including brief writing and usage rights tracking, is preferred.
  • Light paid social boosting coordination experience with a performance marketer is preferred.
