Description

  • Monitor and manage tenant delinquencies across the full property portfolio.
  • Conduct follow-up calls and send notices to tenants with overdue balances.
  • Reconcile tenant ledgers and accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Track, analyze, and report delinquency metrics and trends to leadership.
  • Maintain detailed records of all collection activities and communications.
  • Coordinate with property managers and legal teams when escalation is required.
  • Develop and improve collection workflows, policies, and follow-up processes.
  • Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports.
  • Support budgeting, cash flow tracking, and variance analysis.
  • Create high-level owner-facing reports that translate raw data into actionable insights.
  • Assist with investor-related reporting as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Collections or Accounts Receivable is required.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for financial tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Experience with AppFolio, Yardi, or similar property management software is preferred.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, with comfort handling U.S.-based calls.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create clear, concise, high-level reports for leadership.
  • CPA, CMA, or a similar accounting certification is a plus.
  • Experience in real estate, property management, or fund administration is a plus.
  • Familiarity with U.S. landlord-tenant laws and eviction processes is a plus.
  • Experience working with external accountants or investor reporting is a plus.
  • Ownership mindset with initiative and independent follow-through.
  • Confidence handling difficult conversations and tenant disputes.
  • Ability to reconcile data, identify discrepancies, and present insights clearly.
  • Assertive but professional communication style in collections situations.
  • Trustworthiness and discretion when handling sensitive financial and investor data.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote, self-directed environment.
