Description

  • Monitor Brex card activity for unusual or noncompliant transactions and follow up with cardholders.
  • Maintain records of cardholders, spending limits, and account changes.
  • Review expense reports for accuracy, completeness, receipts, categorization, and policy compliance.
  • Resolve policy violations, missing documentation, and miscategorized expenses with employees.
  • Maintain and clarify employee expense policy documentation.
  • Monitor cloud and compute-related transactions and help move unauthorized spending into sanctioned enterprise accounts.
  • Track department budgets against actual spending and report variances and trends.
  • Prepare recurring spend reports for the Senior Accounting Manager and department stakeholders.
  • Support month-end close by validating and categorizing card and expense data.
  • Track vendor and subscription spending, including renewal-related items.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, operations, or a related administrative role; internships count.
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas and basic data organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify small errors.
  • Clear, professional written communication and confidence following up with employees.
  • Ability to manage recurring, deadline-driven tasks independently.
  • Trustworthiness when handling sensitive financial and payment information.
  • Experience with Brex, Ramp, or a similar corporate card or expense platform preferred.
  • Familiarity with expense categorization, accruals, and budget-versus-actual reporting preferred.
