Description

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers while promoting collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Architect, develop, and optimize scalable solutions on Google Cloud Platform or equivalent cloud services.
  • Implement and manage backend messaging, task processing, Kubernetes, and autoscaling infrastructure.
  • Drive frontend development using Vue or React, with a focus on performance optimization and module federation where applicable.
  • Design and optimize MongoDB and Firestore data models and queries for high performance and scalability.
  • Build and scale platform infrastructure with attention to reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with product, support, customer success, and other technical teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Solve complex technical issues under pressure using a methodical, analytical approach.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices and incorporate them into team workflows and architecture.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform or equivalent platforms such as AWS.
  • Experience with Pub/Sub, Cloud Tasks, Kubernetes (GKE), and autoscaling strategies.
  • Strong proficiency with modern frontend frameworks such as Vue or React.
  • Deep understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques; module federation experience is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of MongoDB and Firestore, with proven database performance optimization experience.
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling platform infrastructure in high-growth or fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Comprehensive understanding of system architecture and cloud practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a track record of mentoring engineering teams.
