Description

  • Design and evolve Node.js and NestJS services that power high-scale CRM systems.
  • Make architectural decisions that balance scale, cost, and long-term maintainability.
  • Build well-typed REST APIs for high-volume workflows with versioning and backward compatibility in mind.
  • Model, optimize, and maintain MongoDB and Firestore schemas for heavy read/write workloads.
  • Design atomic updates and consistency strategies for distributed data and state sync.
  • Implement queues, caching, and rate limiting to handle burst traffic and failure scenarios.
  • Ship modular Vue 3 interfaces that consume APIs efficiently and support real-time updates.
  • Instrument logs, metrics, traces, and alerts, and participate in on-call support.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues and drive post-mortems to closure.
  • Review code, mentor junior engineers, and raise engineering standards across the team.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional engineering experience.
  • Strong backend-heavy full-stack engineering background.
  • Deep experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Experience building and scaling microservices with NestJS or Express.
  • Modern frontend experience with Vue 3 or similar frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of API design, data modeling, distributed systems tradeoffs, concurrency, and rate limiting.
  • Real production debugging experience.
  • Comfort working in cloud-native environments such as GCP or AWS.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and containerization.
  • Pub/Sub or message queue experience is preferred.
  • Exposure to event-driven systems is preferred.
  • Domain-driven design familiarity is preferred.
  • Performance optimization experience is preferred.
  • Experience reducing infrastructure costs is preferred.
