Description

  • Define and deliver the roadmap for orchestration, transaction lifecycle, receipts, and webhook ingress.
  • Improve authorization rates and cost efficiency through payment routing, provider selection, retries, and failover.
  • Own authorizations, captures, refunds, voids, and disputes while ensuring idempotency and transaction-state integrity.
  • Build reliable webhook processing that normalizes, deduplicates, and distributes provider events.
  • Own accurate receipts and transaction records for customers and end users.
  • Partner with engineering to design well-documented payment APIs and event models.
  • Drive uptime, latency, error-rate monitoring, alerting, reconciliation, and observability improvements.
  • Ensure payment infrastructure meets PCI, security, risk, scalability, and data-integrity requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, data, risk, support, and partner-facing teams.
  • Use authorization, failure, latency, success, and reconciliation metrics to prioritize work and measure outcomes.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Product Management experience focused on payments, fintech, platform, API, or infrastructure products.
  • Track record of shipping impactful platform or infrastructure features in high-scale environments.
  • Working knowledge of PSP and gateway integrations, authorization-to-settlement lifecycles, webhooks, idempotency, and reconciliation.
  • Strong technical fluency in API design, event models, routing logic, failure modes, and system trade-offs.
  • Experience building secure, reliable payment, fintech, platform, or infrastructure systems.
  • Ability to design for retries, timeouts, duplicates, reconciliation, and other failure paths.
  • Customer- and developer-centric approach balancing business goals, risk, and trust.
  • Ability to shape roadmaps and execute on measurable product outcomes.
  • Data-driven decision-making using transaction logs, failure reasons, provider behavior, and performance metrics.
  • Experience with multi-provider payment platforms and significant transaction volumes preferred.
