Description

  • Lead design strategy and execution for one or more product pillars.
  • Partner with product and engineering leaders to shape vision, prioritize opportunities, and align teams on outcomes.
  • Influence leadership decisions through customer empathy, data synthesis, product judgment, storytelling, and design rationale.
  • Drive quality reviews covering usability, accessibility, interaction quality, visual consistency, and design-system alignment.
  • Mentor designers, improve critique practices, and strengthen shared design patterns.
  • Define and communicate metrics for design quality and product impact.
  • Lead complex discovery and design work through ambiguity within a defined product scope.
  • Collaborate across US and India time zones in a fully remote environment.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant product design experience, including 2+ years in leadership, mentorship, or design direction.
  • Experience with SaaS, B2B, platform, workflow-heavy, or other complex digital products preferred.
  • Portfolio demonstrating systematic thinking, customer empathy, exceptional craft, measurable impact, and leadership beyond execution; applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
  • Experience across the full product design lifecycle, including research, information architecture, interaction and visual design, prototyping, content strategy, and usability testing.
  • Exceptional visual and interaction design skills, including hierarchy, layout, typography, grids, spacing, motion, usability, accessibility, and product quality.
  • Mandatory experience using AI-powered tools for exploration, prototyping, critique, synthesis, or workflow acceleration.
  • Experience designing AI-driven or intelligent interfaces and collaborating with machine learning, data, automation, or platform teams preferred.
  • Fluency in design systems, accessibility standards, reusable patterns, and scalable product decisions.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership, communication, facilitation, critique, workshop, and stakeholder-influence skills.
  • Commitment to accessibility, inclusion, ethical design, and improving design operations, tools, documentation, and processes.

Benefits

  • Annual salary range of $152,000–$191,000.
