Description

  • Implement in-engine and external tools as part of development pipelines.
  • Break features into scoped tasks and identify risks and dependencies early.
  • Architect modular building blocks, systems, and toolsets for less technical creators.
  • Establish performance budgets and constraints to support stable, scalable creator-made systems.
  • Write technical design documentation for internal and public tool users.
  • Collaborate with designers, artists, engineers, and producers to improve workflows and provide peer feedback.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of technical tools design experience in the game industry.
  • 1–2 years of Unreal Engine 5 experience in a tools or technical design capacity on professional, academic, or personal projects.
  • Expertise with Unreal Engine implementation, including Blueprint Scripting and plugins.
  • Strong knowledge of developing usable and accessible toolsets for less technical users.
  • Familiarity with coding principles such as data types, logical operators, functions, and inheritance.
  • Ability to work independently in a small-team environment and collaborate effectively across disciplines.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for video games and user-created experiences such as Roblox and Fortnite.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher; CV must be submitted in English.
  • Preferred: multiplayer or live-service experience, procedural or modular content systems, UI/UX, shipped credits, and a portfolio.
  • Preferred: experience with C++, Verse, UMG, World Partition, GAS, UEFN, Roblox, Figma, Miro, Unity, Godot, or proprietary engines.
