Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain test strategies, test suites, and test cases based on product requirements.
  • Build and maintain automation for regression, smoke, functional, performance, and data validation testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Identify, report, and track defects through resolution to support product quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Provide hands-on QA leadership in a complex, evolving environment and help drive delivery of solutions.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
  • Mentor junior QA team members and provide guidance on testing best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field, or significant relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of QA engineering experience with both manual and automated testing of SaaS-based distributed software products in AWS or a similar cloud environment.
  • 3+ years of experience testing software products in the healthcare domain, with a focus on healthcare transactions.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, data, and standards such as HIPAA, HL7, X12, and FHIR.
  • Solid understanding of API validation, including JSON, XML, and FHIR resources.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, data verification, and backend validation.
  • Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar tools.
  • Experience testing web applications, mobile applications, and APIs in an agile development environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SaaS architecture, technologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to explore and adopt AI tools responsibly to improve productivity and innovation.
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is preferred.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines is preferred.
  • ISTQB certification or a similar certification is a plus.

  • Base salary range of $110,000-$125,000 per year, excluding variable compensation.
