Description

  • Contribute as a senior individual contributor to the development and maintenance of critical enterprise web platform components.
  • Lead the end-to-end design, implementation, and evolution of enterprise-scale web systems.
  • Define and drive technical priorities, standards, and expectations for engineering teams.
  • Own system-wide quality attributes including performance, reliability, security, and accessibility.
  • Establish and participate in design reviews, code reviews, and validation practices.
  • Identify architectural gaps and modernization opportunities and govern new technologies, patterns, and practices.
  • Act as a primary technical advisor to stakeholders and align engineering decisions with business and compliance objectives.
  • Proactively identify technical and operational risks and define mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, UX/UI teams, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Mentor engineers and influence architectural decisions across teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent significant industry experience.
  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in full-stack enterprise web application development.
  • Experience architecting, building, and delivering large-scale, high-performance, highly available SaaS platforms.
  • 5+ years of experience in the healthcare domain with knowledge of healthcare systems, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including microservices, serverless architectures, and cloud-native design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with Angular, ASP.NET, and Node.js.
  • Proficiency in C#/.NET and Python for building and operating production-grade web services.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL data stores, including PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of application security, identity and access management, secure coding practices, HIPAA, OWASP, WCAG, and ADA.
  • Experience using AI tools such as CursorAI and GitHub Copilot to support development, refactoring, and documentation.
  • Exposure to AI/ML-enabled solutions, particularly in healthcare or patient-care workflows.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and driving DevOps practices such as CI/CD, observability, and operational excellence.
  • Proven technical leadership, mentoring experience, and the ability to influence architectural decisions across teams.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to travel 10%-25%, including overnight travel.
  • Must be located in the U.S. and able to work remotely in EST or CST time zones.
