Description

  • Own engineering delivery, maintenance, and production support for assigned product or platform areas.
  • Deliver new features and improve existing components with a focus on code quality, scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Lead incident response, troubleshooting, and operational execution for production systems.
  • Drive sprint planning, prioritization, and execution to support predictable delivery.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, and deployment oversight.
  • Directly manage software engineers and/or technical leads, including coaching, feedback, and career development.
  • Partner with Product, Architecture, QA, and Operations to ensure quality, alignment, and production readiness.
  • Support cloud-native modernization efforts and technical debt reduction.
  • Encourage adoption of AI-assisted SDLC tools to improve engineering velocity while maintaining standards.
  • Support development of AI-enabled capabilities with strong practices for quality, security, privacy, and reliability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent minimum education level required.
  • Experience leading engineering teams in software development or platform environments.
  • Experience owning engineering delivery and production support for product or platform areas.
  • Hands-on technical leadership experience with design reviews, code reviews, and deployment oversight.
  • Experience managing software engineers and/or technical leads, including coaching and career development.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Architecture, QA, and Operations.
  • Experience with cloud-native development and/or modernization initiatives is preferred.
  • Experience reducing technical debt and improving scalability, performance, security, and maintainability is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and AI-enabled software capabilities is preferred.
  • Must be able to travel up to 10%, including overnight travel.
  • Must be located in the United States and work within EST or CST time zones.
