Description

  • Own end-to-end programme delivery for CA-1 militarisation from early development through qualified delivery and operational handover.
  • Serve as the primary interface between Helsing and government customers, industry partners, and other external stakeholders.
  • Translate customer and contractual commitments into executable internal plans and priorities.
  • Coordinate Engineering, Product, Procurement, Legal, and Compliance around shared programme objectives.
  • Resolve cross-functional dependencies and protect schedule integrity, quality of deliverables, and programme integrity.
  • Oversee qualification, testing, and trial campaigns across multiple workstreams.
  • Maintain live oversight of programme schedule, risk, and budget and escalate issues early.
  • Ensure platform and system development meets MIL-Spec, STANAG, NATO, airworthiness, security, and contractual requirements.
  • Work closely with the Chief Engineer as the programme counterpart on delivery execution.

Requirements

  • Experience delivering complex militarisation programmes end-to-end in a defence or aerospace environment.
  • Experience taking programmes from early-stage development through qualification, testing, and operational handover.
  • Experience serving as the primary programme interface for government customers and defence industry partners.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, Procurement, Legal, and Compliance.
  • Experience working in regulated, time-critical environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience applying MIL-Spec standards, STANAG and NATO requirements, and airworthiness regulations in active programme delivery.
  • Experience managing programme schedule, risk registers, and budget across multiple concurrent sub-streams.
  • Ability to make sound decisions under ambiguity and complexity.
  • Familiarity with European defence procurement processes and engagement with multiple national government customers, preferred.
  • Experience with software-hardware integration programmes in a militarised or dual-use technology context, preferred.
