Description

  • Own the full Integrated Logistics Support lifecycle for CA-1 from concept definition through Final Operational Capability and sustained in-service support.
  • Coordinate maintenance planning, spare parts management, technical documentation, training, and support equipment to meet programme milestones.
  • Build and manage ILS master schedules, risk registers, and cost baselines.
  • Provide stakeholders with clear, evidence-based status reporting and corrective action plans.
  • Lead ILS bid and proposal activity, including structuring and costing integrated support offers for defence customers.
  • Define and implement in-service support frameworks such as performance-based logistics and availability contracting.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and customer-facing teams to align ILS outputs with programme requirements.
  • Support through-life sustainment planning across Initial Operational Capability and long-term operational readiness.

Requirements

  • Experience delivering Integrated Logistics Support or Integrated Product Support programmes in a defence or aerospace environment from concept through in-service sustainment.
  • Hands-on experience across multiple ILS elements, including maintenance planning, supply support, technical documentation, training, and support equipment.
  • Experience structuring, costing, and leading ILS proposals and bids for defence customers.
  • Experience managing complex programme controls, including master schedules, milestone tracking, risk registers, and cost baselines across multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Understanding of through-life support concepts, including performance-based logistics, availability contracting, and in-service sustainment planning.
  • Experience working with defence customers and understanding how support solutions are evaluated commercially and technically.
  • Familiarity with German defence procurement structures and customer requirements is preferred.
  • Experience in platform sustainment programmes that integrate software or AI-enabled systems alongside traditional ILS elements is preferred.
