Description

Develop computer vision models and pipelines for scene understanding and localization.
Build and benchmark scene matching and geo-registration systems robust to changing real-world conditions.
Develop and evaluate SLAM, visual odometry, and structure-from-motion systems for deployable platforms.
Research and adapt state-of-the-art geometric deep learning and feature matching methods to practical use cases.
Design rigorous experiments and conduct benchmarks to measure and improve system performance.
Adapt models and pipelines to target hardware and downstream deployment constraints.
Collaborate with research, engineering, product, and deployment teams on high-impact projects.
Integrate localization and reconstruction outputs into navigation and decision-making pipelines.
Report and present research findings clearly to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

MSc in computer science, machine learning, robotics, or a closely related field.
Experience designing, implementing, and thoroughly evaluating advanced AI-based systems.
Hands-on experience with localization, scene matching, or 3D reconstruction systems.
Experience making models and geometric pipelines reliable under real-world data distributions and deployment constraints.
Deep familiarity with geometric computer vision and deep learning methods such as learned feature matching, place recognition, visual SLAM, VIO, or NeRF.
Experience applying domain adaptation or model compression to practical problems.
Solid software engineering skills and clean, well-structured Python code.
Experience deploying AI software to production, including testing, QA, and monitoring.
Strong communication skills for presenting research findings clearly and efficiently.
Passion for staying current with research and reimplementing and extending state-of-the-art approaches in geometric deep learning, SLAM, and 3D vision.
PhD in computer vision, machine learning, robotics, or a related field, with publications in top-tier venues such as CVPR, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICCV, ICRA, IROS, or ECCV (preferred).
Experience delivering end-to-end AI systems on edge devices with constrained compute resources (preferred).
Experience with simulators, emulators, or synthetic data generation pipelines for geometry or localization tasks (preferred).
Experience with Rust and/or C++ (preferred).
