Description

  • Take full ownership of assigned categories to develop and optimize the supply network.
  • Refine and implement sourcing and supply chain strategies that reduce risk and improve cost structure.
  • Build and maintain a strong supplier base aligned with company values.
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships, including performance management and innovation activities.
  • Lead cost savings initiatives to help meet budget targets.
  • Use internal data and industry benchmarks to analyze markets, suppliers, and SKUs and identify improvement and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data-driven reporting, project management, and best-practice implementation.
  • Onboard new vendors and SKUs to support cost savings and improve customer experience.
  • Proactively manage quality specifications and resolve issues that could affect ingredient standards.
  • Work with Procurement Operations to develop execution plans and track vendor contract compliance.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain operations and strategic sourcing, or operations strategy-focused management consulting.
  • Undergraduate degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in Google Suite applications, especially Google Sheets.
  • Experience successfully leading large initiatives and sourcing events through strategic sourcing processes.
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to organize, explore, and synthesize unstructured data into actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented, methodical working style.
  • Ability to work autonomously in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical information to varied audiences.
  • Collaborative approach to working across multiple teams and functions.
  • Strong project and people management capabilities.
