Description

  • Manage key weekly operations to ensure boxes ship on time and accurately each week.
  • Manage relationships and performance across current and future 3PL partners.
  • Own carrier network strategy to improve on-time performance and control costs, including onboarding new carriers.
  • Manage the supply chain management tech roadmap and keep the order management process running smoothly each day.
  • Analyze weekly technology and order issues proactively to identify and resolve operational problems.
  • Optimize and monitor fulfillment and shipping costs to support margin goals.
  • Partner with the COO to launch new product and operations initiatives from inception.
  • Develop, lead, and execute complex cross-functional project plans with milestones, timelines, communication plans, and owners.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects, including designing and prototyping systems and tools.
  • Propose new ideas to improve product and operations performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related business or operations field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of related work experience, ideally in operations and/or data analytics.
  • Experience working in operational environments such as manufacturing, retail, or similar; management or operations consulting experience is ideal.
  • Experience managing complex projects in a hands-on analytical environment.
  • Proven experience establishing, implementing, and executing operational processes.
  • Strong data and analytical skills, including the ability to analyze large datasets and build complex models.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly using sound professional judgment.
  • Excellent presentation, oral and written communication, and relationship-building skills across all management levels and with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage resources, budgets, vendors, and guide projects through completion.
  • Experience influencing key stakeholders, working cross-functionally, and operating autonomously is preferred.
