Description

  • Develop and define the strategy, operating model, scope, goals, and success metrics for patient activation and engagement programs.
  • Analyze patient journey and engagement data to identify drivers of disengagement and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and implement activation strategies across workflows, tooling, and patient communications to improve activation and follow-through.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Clinical, Product, Data, Growth/Marketing, and Operations teams to influence product roadmaps and operational changes.
  • Build scalable programs, playbooks, and processes to standardize engagement practices and enable growth of the function.
  • Establish KPIs, reporting, and measurement frameworks to track activation, conversion, and program effectiveness.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on patient engagement and activation best practices and evangelize those practices across teams.
  • Test, iterate, and continuously improve engagement strategies based on outcomes and data-driven insights.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of total experience, including 7+ years focused in healthcare operations, patient engagement, provider engagement, patient access, population health, digital health, product strategy, or related fields.
  • Experience designing and launching programs or workflows that improve patient engagement, activation, or outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and measure program effectiveness.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure from the ground up.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence across teams and levels.
  • Highly collaborative, pragmatic, and execution-oriented with demonstrated program management capability.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in public health, healthcare administration, business, or a related field is a plus.
  • Interest in growing into a people manager over time; prior experience leading or scaling teams is a plus (preferred).
