Description

  • Own a designated book of business and drive outcomes for product adoption, utilization, net dollar retention, and customer health.
  • Lead the full renewal and expansion sales process, including identifying, negotiating, and closing upsell opportunities.
  • Conduct deep discovery with Product Solutions Consultants and senior leaders to uncover customer pain points and map them to HealthJoy solutions.
  • Build and maintain consultative relationships with stakeholders from day-to-day champions to C-suite executives.
  • Serve as the primary external point of contact for escalations and resolve complex issues with urgency and poise.
  • Advise customers on strategies to improve member adoption and expand account value through HealthJoy’s product and services.
  • Use AI tools and software to analyze book-of-business performance and share customer insights internally.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of customer contracts, health scores, and stakeholder updates.
  • Travel to meet customers and brokers for business reviews and relationship-building throughout the year.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of customer-facing account leadership or related experience.
  • Benefits experience required; background as an HR team member or benefits consultant is strongly preferred.
  • Proven success managing customer retention and account growth within a book of business, or related contract negotiation experience.
  • Experience navigating a sales process, including overcoming objections and managing procurement and legal hurdles.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a hunter mindset for identifying expansion opportunities within a farmer role.
  • Strategic, results-oriented approach to working with stakeholders across all levels of an organization, including C-suite.
  • Highly collaborative and influential across teams to drive results and innovation.
  • Exceptional executive presence and the ability to present complex information in a clear, actionable way.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15-20% and at least quarterly to Chicago for internal team meetings.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools such as Claude or Gemini is preferred.
