Description

Conduct customer research through interviews, tests, and investigations to identify pain points, needs, and opportunities.
Map customer journeys and business processes to generate actionable insights.
Run benchmarks independently and turn findings into clear design recommendations.
Build and test prototypes using usability, information architecture, and interaction design principles.
Document feedback from prototype and design reviews and propose improvements.
Use the Design System consistently and contribute suggestions for interaction and architecture patterns.
Present and communicate design work to team members and stakeholders to align decisions and increase visibility.
Suggest success metrics for the initiatives and products being developed.
Collaborate in the discovery process and support design decisions within a defined Payments product scope.

Requirements

Experience as a Product Designer or in a similar product design role, with mid-level ownership expectations.
Prior experience in fintech or the financial services market is a plus.
Ability to design interfaces for complex, large-scale systems is preferred.
Experience with Design Thinking and Lean UX is preferred.
Strong communication skills to present and defend design decisions clearly and effectively.
Interest in staying current with new trends and practices in product design.
Willingness to adopt the company’s AI tools and technologies and engage in work-transformation initiatives.
Ability to work within a well-defined scope under leadership guidance while influencing stakeholders and the team.
