Description

  • Administer utility-scale renewable power purchase agreements and interconnection agreements from execution through commercial operation and ongoing performance.
  • Track critical contract milestones, including COD requirements, security postings, milestone payments, deliverability obligations, and reporting deadlines.
  • Coordinate contract amendments, assignments, consents, and notices.
  • Maintain organized, auditable contract files in contract management systems.
  • Monitor seller obligations under PPAs, including performance guarantees, liquidated damages exposure, availability requirements, and reporting obligations.
  • Track buyer obligations, including payment timelines, credit support requirements, and invoicing terms.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable ISO/RTO requirements such as CAISO, ERCOT, PJM, MISO, and SPP.
  • Flag commercial and operational risks to PMO, Origination, Legal, and executive leadership.
  • Partner with Development and the PMO Manager during pre-COD milestone tracking and with Asset Management after COD for ongoing compliance.
  • Support lenders, investors, and M&A or project sale processes by preparing accurate contract documentation and data room materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Energy Management, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in energy contracts, renewable energy development, power marketing, project management, or contract administration.
  • Direct experience with Power Purchase Agreements strongly preferred.
  • Direct experience with interconnection agreements preferred.
  • Direct experience with downstream project agreements such as supply agreements and EPC agreements preferred.
  • Understanding or awareness of wholesale power markets and ISO/RTO structures.
  • Strong organizational skills and documentation discipline.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple project timelines.
  • Strong project management, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex contractual, financial, and operational matters to internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits

  • Compensation range of $200,000 to $240,000 salary.
