Description

  • Create original artwork and complete illustration sets in Hadley Designs’ established style across product lines.
  • Draw characters, motifs, patterns, scenes, and other kid-friendly illustration elements.
  • Turn creative concepts and direction into finished, production-ready product designs.
  • Carry designs from initial handoff through final build-out with minimal back-and-forth.
  • Prepare print and production files to spec.
  • Build mockups and product previews for listings.
  • Maintain style consistency across the full product set and keep the style reference updated as the catalog grows.
  • Provide occasional support for ad assets such as A+ content, storefront updates, and CMYK ad images.
  • Revise existing product lines when needed.

Requirements

  • Portfolio of original illustration work showing a cute, playful, kid-friendly, or product-design sensibility.
  • Working proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for native illustration.
  • Ability to match and extend an existing art style so new pieces fit naturally with original sets.
  • Strong ability to take written and verbal creative direction and turn it into finished work.
  • Reliability on deadlines while managing several pieces at once.
  • Early-career illustrator with genuine drawing talent.
  • Remote-ready and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where new products ship every month.
  • Experience preparing print and production files to spec, preferred.
  • Familiarity with the children's, educational, or consumer-product space, preferred.
  • Comfort with lightweight project tools such as Notion and ClickUp, preferred.
