Description

  • Design, build, manage, and optimize REST and SOAP API integrations.
  • Maintain authentication, error handling, monitoring, and security standards across integrations.
  • Design and maintain SQL tables, views, stored procedures, schemas, and indexing.
  • Optimize query performance and troubleshoot data integrity and database issues.
  • Build, maintain, and monitor ETL/ELT data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Pipelines, and related Azure services.
  • Handle pipeline failures, alerts, throughput optimization, and data quality across environments.
  • Troubleshoot and support existing code and integrations, including JavaScript and PHP.
  • Maintain custom applications, internal automation workflows, logging, monitoring, alerting, and operational runbooks.
  • Identify manual processes and automate them using scripts, APIs, and Azure services.
  • Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures while collaborating with IT, Operations, and Leadership teams.

Requirements

  • Functional proficiency in JavaScript and PHP.
  • Strong understanding of REST and SOAP API design, authentication protocols, and JSON/XML formats.
  • Expertise in SQL development, database schema design, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Required experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), ETL/ELT pipeline development, Azure Pipelines, and Azure DevOps concepts.
  • Ability to monitor pipelines, debug failures, and optimize performance.
  • Ability to perform root-cause analysis across APIs, pipelines, data models, and codebases.
  • Understanding of integration architecture and operational reliability.
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Azure Functions or Logic Apps (preferred).
  • Experience supporting business intelligence and reporting teams (preferred).
  • Understanding of Azure networking and security concepts (preferred).
