Description

  • Generate new prospects and networking opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Establish, monitor, and enforce internal controls and accounting policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycle, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting.
  • Establish GAAP accounting standards and procedures.
  • Review financial reports and statements for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare monthly and annual client financial reports, including consolidated financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Support cross-functional accounting and finance systems implementation and integrations.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide staff.
  • Manage the accounting needs of business, high-net-worth, and family office clients.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a controller or client accounting services position.
  • Proven experience in accounting and financial management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and financial standards.
  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics is required.
  • CPA certification or CPA in progress is required.
  • MBA or MST degree is preferred.
