Description

  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for cost accounting and inventory valuation.
  • Oversee standard costing, job costing, and development of labor and overhead rates across manufacturing programs.
  • Perform profitability, variance, and margin analysis by product line, contract, and business unit.
  • Ensure compliance with DCAA, FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and SOX requirements.
  • Govern inventory accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
  • Design and enforce cycle count programs, physical inventory procedures, and reconciliations.
  • Manage inventory pegging, material traceability, and Customer Furnished Material tracking in Infor LN.
  • Serve as the functional SME for Costing, Warehousing, and Manufacturing modules in Infor LN.
  • Drive system improvements, data governance, and process automation to reduce manual reconciliations.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a team of cost accountants and inventory control specialists.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive cost and inventory accounting experience.
  • 3+ years in a management or leadership role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI DoD clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and direct report management skills.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Infor LN, especially Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Financial modules, strongly preferred.
  • Aerospace and Defense manufacturing background strongly preferred, including engineer-to-order and government contracting experience.
  • CPA, CMA, or CPIM certification is highly preferred.
