Description

  • Provide product and installation support for new and existing customers across the sales life cycle.
  • Deliver remote technical support to partners and customers, including occasional after-hours coverage.
  • Perform reactive service, preventive maintenance, and installation support to resolve issues quickly.
  • Support the Sales team with engineering input on new opportunities.
  • Maintain strong customer relations and communicate professionally with customers, the call desk, and management.
  • Complete job-related documentation, permits to work, timesheets, expense claims, and ERP updates on time.
  • Assist the service team and other engineers to deliver effective service coverage.
  • Travel to customer sites across the US, including other regions when needed.
  • Conduct site walks and document installed equipment to support upselling opportunities.
  • Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures and maintain compliance in the field.

Requirements

  • Experience working independently as a service or installation technician.
  • Demonstrable experience working with turnstiles and electrical installations.
  • Ability to work with contractors and end-users to provide product and installation support.
  • Knowledge of low- and high-voltage circuitry.
  • Knowledge of electronic security systems and access control systems.
  • Practical experience with internet and networking technologies.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams.
  • Good mechanical knowledge.
  • Willingness to train on new and varying products.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to handle changing priorities and work under pressure.
  • Ability to problem-solve independently and consult with experienced colleagues as needed.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites for installs.
