Description

  • Support AWS, Azure, Oracle, and GCP cloud services and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in cloud environments while applying cloud security best practices.
  • Use Azure data services including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Sentinel to maintain security posture and compliance.
  • Write and maintain automation scripts in PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI and run them through Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
  • Configure network security groups, application gateways, and other network controls to protect cloud resources.
  • Manage cloud compute, storage, networking, and database services while applying security compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to ensure systems are complete, functional, and meet requirements.
  • Support federal presales engineering efforts in technically complex cloud and cybersecurity environments.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ additional years of IT experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering and/or development.
  • Experience designing and deploying cloud-based solutions using DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or Docker.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, Ansible, or BICEP.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Enterprise and architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
  • Experience automating workflows using PowerShell, Bash, Python, YAML, or JSON.
  • Experience meeting security requirements in the Sponsor's environment or similar complex environments.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification, such as Security+ or CCNA Security, or ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
  • Understanding of FIPS-199, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-53A, NIST SP 800-37, and the DoD Cloud Security Requirements Guide is preferred.
  • Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are preferred.
