Description

  • Work with Account Executives to drive new and continued business within the territory.
  • Provide architectural security guidance and solution recommendations to prospects and customers.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design new cybersecurity service offerings.
  • Develop business and security program recommendations aligned to customer outcomes.
  • Learn emerging cyber technologies and explain their value for adoption and integration.
  • Participate in sales and marketing events, industry events, conferences, and forums.
  • Drive services technology adoption within the existing customer base.
  • Develop statements of work and proposals for GuidePoint engineering services.
  • Research emerging vendors and technologies to solve client challenges.
  • Author technical and business collateral for both technical and managerial audiences.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in an enterprise-level security consultative, vendor, or operational role.
  • Experience building and assessing information security architectures and programs.
  • Deep proficiency in multiple security technologies, including network security, NGFW, cloud security, data security, vulnerability and risk management, proxy, EDR, IAM, SIEM and analytics, and AI security.
  • Strong proficiency with Windows, macOS/OSX, and Linux operating systems.
  • Working knowledge of advanced security concepts such as Zero Trust and defense in depth.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical content to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with teams to create new service offerings and supporting collateral.
  • Cybersecurity presales engineering experience is required.
  • Experience with MSSP/MDR sales or solution work is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
