Description

  • Refine and execute Grove’s content pillars and quarterly editorial calendar across organic and paid channels.
  • Manage and expand the creator and influencer program, including sourcing, vetting, contracting, briefing, usage rights, and compliance.
  • Launch co-marketing and partnership campaigns with mission-aligned brands, NGOs, retailers, podcasts, and newsletters.
  • Own media efficiency inputs, including the impact of media mix, content focus, and strategy on first-order profit and early repeat rates.
  • Run a transparent experimentation pipeline across channels and share learnings that inform channel mix, creative, and customer experience.
  • Own budget planning, scenario modeling, and in-quarter pacing, and communicate tradeoffs and returns to leadership and Finance.
  • Partner with Product and Ecommerce teams on landing page and funnel improvements.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising, Sustainability, and human health experts to align launches and messaging with Grove’s mission.
  • Manage and develop a small team and select agencies to augment in-house resources.
  • Provide a thorough handoff to the Director of Growth on processes, performance, strategy, and near-term plans.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in DTC brand, content, or social marketing with a record of scaling profitable new-customer volume.
  • Experience building growth beyond a media mix dominated by Google Search/PLA and Meta.
  • Experience using organic and community-led tactics such as Reddit/forums, influencer/UGC, AEO/AIO, agentic commerce, or guerrilla/community strategies.
  • Ability to write strong creative briefs and translate concepts into high-performing assets.
  • Comfort with tests, lift studies, and content-assisted attribution, with KPI selection beyond last-click ROAS.
  • Experience hiring, managing, and developing small teams, including working with agencies and contractors.
  • Passion for sustainability and human health.
  • Technical depth in measurement and attribution, including media mix modeling, multi-touch attribution, lift testing, and surveys.
  • Experience partnering with Product and CX teams to improve funnels and maintain data accuracy, ideally in a Shopify environment.
  • Hands-on experience with product feed architecture, rule logic, diagnostics, and GMC policies, or similar tools.
  • This temporary full-time exempt role is remote for candidates based in California, Maine, Pennsylvania, Nevada, North Carolina, Texas, Colorado, Washington, Illinois, New York, Missouri, or Massachusetts.
